First Encounter with WOWSEA Paddleboard - 2023.08

Saturday

An exciting activity we tried for the first time on Saturday was getting everyone on the paddleboard together. When I say everyone, I mean all our friends and Valya's brother Akkarin. It was an incredible experience that we are eager to repeat, always with the best board from WOWSEA SUP - Poseidon P2.

Paddleboarding is an amazing activity for humans, and when you add your furry friends into the mix, it becomes even more enjoyable. We have plenty of stories and experiences to share, and we can't wait to show you more about our paddleboarding adventures.

Friday

Today has been a very rainy Friday in every sense, as it has rained a lot where we live. However, we always try to stay positive and remember the fun we had on the water last weekend. Valya was initially a little scared of the paddleboard, but after seeing her brother Akkarin getting on it calmly, she decided to give it a try and ended up loving it.

This photo is from the first moment she got on the board. At first, she wasn't entirely convinced, but eventually, she relaxed and enjoyed herself. Valya loves the water, but when she can't touch the bottom, she gets a bit anxious. We made sure to stay by her side to offer support and reassurance.

Monday

Greeted us with a cloudy sky, but it reminded us that holidays are always present in our hearts. Water has a magical way of healing everything, and it continues to bring us joy and relaxation.

Missing the past

Good morning, family. We have been a bit off our usual posting schedule lately because I've been unwell. I'm a bit prone to getting sick, and this week I even lost my voice. Despite that, we've managed to keep up with our normal routine.

One thing we really miss is paddleboarding, a sport we've been lucky enough to discover and enjoy as a family. We plan to go out and practice every nice day when the water isn't too cold.

Sunday

Today, we wanted to reminisce about one of our vacation days after getting back to work this week. There's no better way to remember those moments than with a photo of our little one and our nephew Akkarin on the WOWSEA Poseidon P2 and P3 boards. Daddy took the photos as best as he could since he was also in the water looking after the little ones. Akkarin was happily on his board with his daddy.

Last year, when we tried the board with Valya, she was very scared. She's afraid of water when she can't touch the bottom, and the board's wobbling made her feel insecure. This year, we decided to let her choose whether to get on or not. Our tactic was to leave the boards on the ground for a few hours while we ate or swam without them, allowing both dogs to get used to them.

Akkarin has never been afraid of the boards; he's a bit of a daredevil. The tactic worked because Valya decided to inspect the board on the ground and then chose to get on it. When we put the board in the water, she wasn't as scared and got on and off as she pleased, always staying near the shore due to her fear of not being able to touch the bottom.

Through these experiences, I want to share two things. First, paddleboarding with our dogs is incredible. Second, not all dogs like it; some are scared or insecure. It's important to respect what they feel, help them gently, and always honor their emotions.

Friday

We are currently enduring a horrible heatwave in Madrid, and mentally, we are cooling off and refreshing ourselves with the paddleboards from WOWSEA SUP. The paddleboard pack includes a SUP board, paddle, hand pump, ankle leash, backpack, fins, waterproof bag, and a repair kit.

We highly recommend these boards and this sport, whether you are with your pets or without them. It's a fantastic way to stay active and enjoy the water.
